Who am I?
My sex/race/geolocation at time of birth?
These things form a part of my experience of "the game" (life)
but they do not define me.
What does then?
This is my path to finding out...

Lex Blank
Inner world to outer form
I’m a multidisciplinary artist and jewellery designer shaping inner mythology into matter.
An international upbringing and a set of contrasting life experiences taught me not to place my identity in nationality or other circumstantial signifiers. My first language is English and I'm based in Europe.
I studied, practised, and taught fashion design and before that, theology—an unlikely prelude from where I stand now, but that’s a story for another time.
The story of how I came to jewellery design you can read here.
Recently, I’ve closed my jewellery brand to make for myself again and to share with others how to do the same.
My practice and my life are anchored in intuitive play, guided by the Mystery, welcoming the unknown.
Originality is a guiding principle in my work, leading to experimentation with materials and the development of my own techniques, placing the process of making above the finished outcome.
My approach is inspired by Jungian perspectives on symbol and soul as well as my own creative path - the Self remembering its true form.
